Citroen C3 vs Rivals: Price and Specs Comparison

Shangrila Motors Pvt. The Citroen C3 is longer than the Suzuki Ignis, but slightly shorter than the Nissan Magnite and Renault Kiger. Likewise, the C3 is wider than the Ignis, but narrower than the others. In terms of height, the C3 sits between the Magnite and the Ignis, while the Kiger is the tallest among all the models. At 2,540mm, the Citroen has the largest wheelbase promising to give one of the best legroom in the segment. In fact, Citroen claims that the C3 has the best-in-class head, shoulder, and elbow room for passengers.

At 40 litres, the Magnite and Kiger have the largest fuel tanks. While the Ignis has a 32-litre fuel tank, the C3 has the smallest fuel tank at just 30 litres. In terms of boot capacity, the Kiger has the biggest boost measuring 405 litres followed by the Magnite with 336 litres and the C3 which comes with a 315 litres boot capacity. The Ignis has the smallest boot measuring just 260 litres.

Similarly, in terms of tyre sizes, only the Ignis and the C3 get 15-inch wheels, while the Kiger and Magnite get bigger 16-inch wheels.

The C3 gets a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated (NA) petrol engine that makes 82 hp and 115 Nm. The Kiger and Magnite, however,  come with both naturally aspirated and turbo-petrol engine option. Like the C3, the Ignis is offered with a naturally aspirated motor only. When it comes to pricing, the C3 sits right between the Magnite and the Kiger. It is considerably cheaper than the Ignis. The Nissan Magnite and the Renault Kiger get eleven (six NA and five turbo-petrol) and three (one NA and two turbo-petrol) variants, respectively. The Ignis gets three variants while the C3 comes with two variants.
